Glyn Johnson - Petrochemicals Specialist

Glyn Johnson has spent forty-two years in the international petrochemical sector and for the last twenty-seven of these has been advising clients in both the industry and its investors. He has worked for a number of prestigious consultancies and is currently senior chemicals/petrochemicals advisor to a leading development bank.

Glyn’s consulting experience includes opportunities as diverse as speciality chemicals blending in Kazakhstan; a world scale ethylene to polymers complex in Russia; molecular sieves and sealants production in Turkey; styrene butadiene rubber integration to tyre production in the Middle East; auto lubricant retailing in Iberia; PO/polyols in Romania to name but a few. 

He has advised key companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on petrochemical investments and mergers, developed industrial strategies for companies and governments and advised technology providers on the commercialisation opportunities of new technologies.
