Mark Waddington - Chief Executive Officer

Mark is a senior downstream energy consultant with over 30 years’ commercial experience, covering refining, trading, supply, and commercial sales, including 21 years at BP plc and 6 years at World Fuel Services. 

Since 2017, Mark has been working for Channoil Energy and in 2020 became a director, focussing on trading, commercial and wholesale markets, and biofuels in EMEA.

He has performed studies on fuel supply chain strategies for independent oil refiners, fuel retailers and biofuels producers in Europe. He has also performed market studies on LPG and Marine Bunker supply assets.

Mark has delivered numerous biofuels and renewable fuels market studies and strategy reviews, including a bankable market report on a bio-ethanol plant in Northern Europe, a market study to support investment in an ethanol storage facility in ARA, and a UK market entry study for a European renewable fuel producer.

Mark speaks regularly at industry conferences and on expert panels.
